Experimental film documenting a journey through Fujisato located in Japan's Akita prefecture. As the first snow arrives in November, the natural elements begin to stir throughout the town and surroundings. Winter forces its way in, while autumn tries to hold on to its last leaves.

The film was shot as part of the artist residency in Akita prefecture in November 2019, organised and supported by ZERODATE Art Project, Japan and Lateral Lab, Scotland.

The areas featured in the film include Choshi no Taki waterfall, the Shirakami-sanchi World Heritage Conservation Centre, various locations in Fujisato town and the mountainous woodlands of the world heritage site.
