Plastic Man, 2017

Experimental documentary short film, premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2017 and nominated for BAFTA Scotland 2017 and UK Best Short Film by Open City Documentary Festival.

Breaking from daily reality, a man transforms into Plastic Man – armed with chemicals, ready to set landscape on fire. Is he the destroyer of Nature, or the voice of its resilience?

PLASTIC MAN has been created in collaboration, and featured Ross McLean – environmental artist and landscape architect. His art practice explores ideas about Nature and ecology, which inform a range of performance based works within varying urban and ecological settings.
